Lisa Lepic

CEO and Owner

Lisa is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the education industry. This experience includes strategic planning, managing the senior leadership team, overseeing profit & loss reporting, developing and maintaining key customer relationships and partnerships, developing cross-industry collaborations, supporting government relations work with federal and state governments in the United States, and working with lobbyists. Lisa also has a strong background in sales.

Mike Fee

Chief Strategy Officer and Owner

Mike has spent his career in education, starting as a classroom teacher with Teach For America and later leading a range of education programs and organizations. He has served in leadership roles for various edtech companies, including as EVP of EverFi, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Spotlight, and VP of Business Development at Pearson. Mike played a lead role in Spotlight's sale to Pearson in 2021.



Chris Lohse

Founding Partner and Board Member

Chris' research efforts have focused at both the practice and the policy level. He has explored topics as diverse as various teacher and school archetypes (and how they would be uniquely supported) to the development of overarching explanatory hypotheses for the differential education performance of nations. His research has led him to deep explorations of the learning sciences, neuroscience, complexity science, and network science.

Tania Sterling

Principal District Expert

Tania Sterling brings 30+ years of proven K12 educational leadership experience to the team. As a respected educator, school administrator, and system and staff development Supervisory Officer, Tania is dedicated to transforming student learning experiences, improving educator practice, and driving meaningful change in education. Following her doctorate in 2012, Tania became the VP of Efficacy for Pearson Canada, working alongside K12 district, higher education and government stakeholders to measure the impact of emerging technologies on student learning. She is thrilled to consult with district leaders to ensure that every learner thrives in a dynamic, inclusive environment that engages and prepares them for an exciting and prosperous future.

Gary Mainor

Founding Partner and Board Member

Gary Mainor holds an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa and a B.A with honors from Macalester College. His robust background encompasses Publishing, Educational Technology, K–12, Academic Publishing, E-Learning and more. He has led several businesses in his career, managed successful mergers and acquisitions, and participated in successful startups, one which grew significantly and was sold to an international firm. Gary contributes valuable insights to the industry as a thought leader and mentor. He has long been sought out for advice on difficult issues and strategic direction in education. He particularly enjoys his continued involvement in assisting students with entrepreneurial ambitions.

Ginnetho Boateng

Treasurer

Ginnetho is a recent graduate from Macalester College with extensive experience in finance. He has expertise in financial analysis, data visualization, market research, and improving supply chain efficiency for SME partners. Currently, Ginnetho is a Financial Analyst at Thomson Reuters, where he leverages his financial analytical capabilities to support corporate financial decisions and provide valuable insights to clients. Notably, Ginnetho comes from a family of educators. He and his family are passionate about improving education outcomes.
